The title really doesn't do justice to this absolute chef's kiss of a post

Thanks. I guess that kind of title works in e.g. New York magazine because you know people are gonna read it no matter what, huh?

Wow. Do you have like a lot of these takes just waiting to be written down and published? I want to read all of them.

I had the same thought!!

That was deeply unexpected, thank you

Like, biblical literary analysis specifically?

I mean, yes. I have a book in drafts about the ten plagues that's been sitting there for years because I only ever remember to work on it during passover. Other scattered bits about what manna really is (bug shit—specifically tamarisk scale honeydew), the importance of baptism as it was originally practiced, how to heal a leper, and some of the miracles at Galilee like the loaves & fishes thing.

More generally...also yes. In the archives of this blog we do schizophrenia/bipolar, both types of diabetes (separate posts), MS, ALS etc. I am not right on all of these; I was shooting from the hip in the ALS post and I've gotten more data since then, and tthe real story is surprisingly coherent, stay tuned. I generally keep it to medical/health stuff here, but I've also got takes on dark matter, baryon asymmetry, and galaxy formation dynamics that, if you ask me, are a lot more robust than the current cosmology. If I don't lose a bunch of subscribers on this one for cluttering up people's inboxes with dickbone talk, maybe I'll post some of those here as well

I like your line of enquiry but this is yet another anomalous piece of human evolution which could be connected to the pig-chimp hybrid hypothesis. Pigs have no baculum, and have prolonged intercourse, they also have a well developed glans, their prostate encircles the urethra like humans, and female humans have a prominent hymen, labia major and absence of sexual swellings just like pigs.

The theory also more convincingly explains better any overwhelming advantage to the os penis mutation- it came bundled with dozens of other anatomical and behavioural changes which created a whole new package. Much simpler than four dozen "just so" stories about sudden onset sexual selection.

Man YOU might be descended from a pig-chimp hybridization event, but I don’t buy it for the rest of us ;p

The alternative: this is yet another point in favor of the pig x chimp hybrid hypothesis 🐷 🐒 💕 😅
